Taking inspiration from the classic Maid Cafés we bring you HotaruCon's Charity Cosplay Café!
This year's theme is: Sailor Moon!

Indulge yourself and enjoy the service of our Cosplay Maids and Butlers. There's games to play and you can even get cheki polaroids with the maids and butlers! All profits go to the Con Charity.
While you’re there, why not check out the Pop Up Vendors?
The Café is free to enter for attendees, simply queue up in the bar, purchase coupons at the front desk on entry to the main hall for cake, drinks, cheki and/or games and you’ll be sat by Café staff.
Tables can seat up to 8, if you want to be together as a large group please note it may take some time for a table to free up. Also if there’s a specific Maid or Butler table you wish to be seated at, you may have to wait a little bit.
As part of our commitment to accessibility, if you can’t stand in queues just let the gopher, Maid or Butler on the door know and if it’s just you, or you and your carer you will be moved to the front of the queue. If you would like to be seated with a group of friends but can’t stand in queues for long periods we’ll find you a seat (or a spot to wait if you have your own) till your group reaches the front of the queue.

Cheki
Cheki (チェキ) are Polaroids and your chance to take home a memory of your time at the Café!
Just purchase a cheki coupon at the front desk and ask your Maid or Butler (or another server if you have a favourite!) to take you to the photo booth. Strike a pose and SNAP, your cheki will be printed at the Café.
Stickers and pens for decorating your cheki will be available for free at all tables.
Single Cheki: £3 (1 guest, 1 maid/butler)
Group Cheki: £5 (Your group + 1 maid/butler)*
Full Cast Cheki: £8 (1 guest + ALL maids & butlers)**
*if you would like to request a photo taken at your table with your server you can but you will have to go and collect your printed Cheki from the photo booth.
**Full Cast Chekis will be available to take at the end of each Café hour when the café resets and will include all the maids working that hour. If you have finished your treats before then just come back to the café to redeem your coupon
Cakes
Cake coupons are available for purchase at the Café front desk. If you loved your treat so much you’d like to try another you can go to the front desk and buy another coupon before leaving the café.
All our cakes are sourced and supplied by the Leonardo Hotel, a full list of flavours and allergen information will be available closer to the convention, displayed with each cake and available to check at table on physical menus and via QR code.
Please let your Maid or Butler know if you have any allergen requirements and they’ll be able to help.
We are unable to provide any alternatives outside those already offered by the hotel but every year we’ve had a gluten free, vegan and lactose free option as a minimum.
Please don’t bring outside food or drinks into the café.
Drinks
Coffee and tea coupons are available for purchase at the Café front desk. If you loved your treat so much you’d like to try another you can go to the front desk and buy another coupon before leaving the café.
Water and a selection of milks and sweeteners for customising your treat will be available for free on the tables. If they have run down, just let your Maid or Butler know and they’ll be able to help.
We are unable to provide any alternatives outside those already offered by the hotel.
You are welcome to bring bottled water or drinks purchased at the hotel bar into the café (though these don’t contribute to the Con Charity) but please don’t bring outside food or drinks into the café.
Games
Games coupons are available for purchase at the Café front desk, one coupon = one game.
All games cost one coupon.
Enjoy a round with our Maids and Butlers while waiting for your treats.

We reserve the right to remove attendees from the Café, and consider confiscation of their event badge, if they violate these rules or those of the convention.
